Hehe, maybe they didn't put all 300 for sale and kept a couple of things like this? :D I never liked the original native because of the swedge grind, but full flat looks better. I'm not a collector thou so the twice price over walmart native with no fundamental improvement didn't seem worth it to me.

Sorry for the fuzzy pictures; I need to take them during the daytime. ~_~

My current EDC:

Leather Plus Sheath, carabiner with keys plus Victorinox Rambler, Fenix E01, and Uncle Bill's Sliver Grippers, Ratchet and extension bar, Big Skinny Thin Card Wallet with Zippered Pocket which contains the County Comm Micro Widgy Bar, Lee Valley Pocket Screwdriver, and a Sandisk 4GB Cruzer Micro, Alltel Samsung Hue II with 2GB Micro SD card, Victorinox Explorer Plus, and a Victorinox SwissTool Spirit X. :)

Tomorrow's EDC:

Same as above, but a Leatherman Squirt P4 and Victorinox Cadet replacing the Spirit X and Explorer Plus above.  I feel like going a bit more minimalist tomorrow. :)

Just the pocket hardware stuff, no turning my backpack inside out (yet)  ;)

So, left pocket carabiner - 8 Gb flash drive, Princetown Tec LED, Cricket lighter and black electrician tape, Swisstech 6-in-1 (when I'm not carrying a Wave), Spyderco Ladybug on a quick-release.
Right pocket - trying to accustom myself to carrying a Wenger New Ranger, not one-handed (indeed, I refer to it as "two-handed pocketknife"  :) ) on a dangler clip with a spinner. Sometimes replaced by my old Vic Nomad clip mod.

That's very similar to the junk I carry around in my pockets at first glance... certainly had a Charge, a Spydie and some Sliver grippers on me today!

Carried this to my college's Mountain Day (Alumni Weekend) and then for a short 3 mile hike later in the day.

And yes I wore the kilt to both.

I might have some this weekend, as sadly no pics of me were taken with my camera.  All I have is an old one from 3 or 4 years ago.

A solid EDC!

Do you find much use with the headlamp?

I am considering of getting one for EDC...but I'll probably just get those new Fenix bodies with the clip so I can fix it on my baseball cap :)

I work at night and usually get off around midnight then have a 30min drive home. So I like to have some type of hands free lighting sorce. Just in case.  Before I carryed a RA Clicky because I could clip it to my hat. So far the SF has worked out good in my EDC setup.

I am considering one due to a similar reason...my hours are getting moved more into night shifts. I'll have to keep my eye peeled out on for one of these SF lights. Don't know if they have made it into the market yet in Australia :-\

Prime, How do you like the Novatac?  I love mine!!  Thumbs up!
I really like it. It really has an amazing quality beam for EDC use. I wish the pocket clip had a bezel up carry option. It would make a great headlamp if you could clip it to your hat bill. I have seen some guys have taken the bezel ring off and installed the clip there but for the life of me I can't get the darn thing off. >:(

Sorry, I know this is old, but I'm trying to catch up.

Prime, regarding the Novatac bezel, have you tried the mouse pad method?

Yea Terry I tried it. I tried everything and I just couldn't get the darn thing off. Someone at the Novatac factory must have really liked locktight that day.

Hmmm....  I guess I got lucky.  I've had mine completely apart, and there's no loctite in it.

bummer dude.  :-\

BTW, I'm with you on the bezel-up carry, to allow for wearing on a hat.  However, I've tried the clip that way on my 120 and I don't like it.  It doesn't seem secure with just a couple of threads screwed into the barrel, and I don't think it seals around the lens (window) as well with it there.

Thats good to know that the clip doesn't work well that way. The RA Clicky that I carryed may have a huge ugly looking clip but it worked great clipped to my hat.
