711L Lolipop driver. It's an interesting little gadget with a very elegant design -- the red cap on the end pops out and turns into an L-handle for additional torque -- but comes with some tradeoffs relative to other pocket screwdriver options. It doesn't have a ratchet, and its bit holder is very shallow and won't work with double-ended bits like the Leathermans or the Wiha Technician set. Its magnet is also absurdly strong, which makes it somewhat difficult to get short bits back out.

I view it as a fun toy for the collection, but not something I would recommend as a practical purchase for most people. I do feel like they got something very close to an excellent design, though, and I'm hoping they do a V2 with broader bit compatibility.

My loadout today:

Pretty fancy HF!
If you mean fancy pic, it was pretty straight forward, just had a free website turn quick freehand pics into an animated gif.

On the edc carry mounting, Ive had some Grid-It™️ elastic matrix cards of various sizes for years. They are too heavy and bulky for edc. So, wanted to try a true minimalist fastening design. The prototype pictured is a Titanium alloy plate with holes drilled on the perimeter and laced with elastic chord. It's a bit lumpy to comfortably carry in a cargo pocket but works great in my slinger bag (Greenroom 136 SlingShifter) eg …

One of the prominent tools shown made a big save a couple of days ago. Was in my kid's bedroom checking the heater radiator just before scheduled winter activation. The flow control valve hex nut had come loose and the XS Knipex cobra came to the rescue. Phew, am glad to have avoided flooding a wooden floor.

 :like:  :iagree:

We used to have a boiler/radiators system in our current house, and I can relate.  You definitely have a different vibe living with that kind of system and the radiant heat it produces - which I sort of liked actually.

Excellent EDC pics, sir.

Nice loadout! :tu: I especially like the GMT watch and the modded SAK. Did it start life as a Bantam?

Thanks FX. The SAK started life as a 93mm Pioneer. It's "RickinFL"'s first custom build from back in the day. That SAK also has a black Ceracoat.
Got it in the past well before a OEM 93mm Alox scissors was available.

In short,
It's a Matchbox Instruments Torpedo X (batt= 10440) fixed body
+ MBI Torpedo X dual direction pocket clip

In somber long …
MBI was an independent make from years ago. The fellow that was MBI went by an internet profile of "TGWNN" (The Guy With No Name) or just Guy. He was based in Tokyo Japan. Since early 2017 he has completely and totally disappeared and effectively fallen off the face of the earth. There's nada on the web. So much time has passed that whatever web presence MBI had has now mostly disintegrated into the ether. Prior to that in private comms he discretely mentioned having some medical problems. He was a gentleman in all my dealings and have heard same from others. Sadly, life goes on.

The light per your question ("Torpedo X") was an experimental limited run build that shipped with complete packaging inside a model torpedo (see vid below) with colour calendar and keyring tag among other nick-nacks. The packaging alone was quite amazing and worth a look.

The "Torpedo X" has some cool features. It came with two battery barrels. One that was sized for AAA or 10440 LIBs and another that would extend and retract to accomodate AAA/10440 or smaller 10250 LIBs. The light was designed to work with alkaline and higher voltage LIBs. The pics show the different battery barrels. It has a rotary magnetic switch assembly with simple UI for on/off up and down the intensity levels. Some users had difficulty with the switch system but I like it.
