Day 2

I just opened the door to let in some cool morning air.  I heard a bunch of unidentifiable animal and possibly Werecoyote noises.  At least they were well across the road.  I hope nobody got torn to shreds and partially eaten by something.
I saw where friend Aztec was using a little Esquire to pick peppers.  I used mine to cut the shrink wrap from a pizza.  This one was a chicken related frozen type.  I will let you know how it turned out.  Chicken product for lunch today.  Yum.
The 65mm Wenger carries effortlessly and the minimal anti-loss lanyard isn't bulky or troublesome.  I didn't want anything else on my keychain.  Best wishes.  G

Day 2

Nail file utilized to pick away old glue from a chair support that required repair.

Also, I like this file on the 14, does a nice job on finger nails after scissors are used to trim nails after a snag or one is damaged opening a stubborn  slip joint.

The can opener opened some "Pickle de Gallo".
Interesting!

Cut serranos from several of my plants today.
:like:

Did some downsizing with my rotary tool accessory kit.
I'm sort of in the process of downsizing. That's in preparation for a move. :ahhh
I used mine to cut the shrink wrap from a pizza.  This one was a chicken related frozen type.

Now I want to try out a 65mm Wenger! :tu:

:iagree: And I have a slip joint that's a real nail ripper.

More great stuff for today, y'awl! :2tu:

Day 2

For Monday Oneday, a Premier (top) and a Picnic. The Premier is a Victorinox Bantam branded as a Wenger, but the Picnic is 100% Wenger.

Did you have so much fun on the rotato challenge that you'll be keeping it up this month, Dan?

Day 2

This Nailclip 580 will be my only nailclipper for the month! I don't expect this to be a particularly onerous restriction. Honestly, the nailclipper added to the Classic/Esquire lobster toolset is very sensible. One of the main things people use them for is grooming/nail trimming, so why not include a dedicated tool instead of just making do with the scissors? I like the little shield stamped? in the nailclipper. Vic should start putting them on tangs or something.

Day 2

Used my royal blue, Eddie Bower edition, Esquire (that's a mouthful of a name isn't it) to prepare a relaxation stick today.  We were finally able to enjoy below 90°F weather this evening.

Did some downsizing with my rotary tool accessory kit. It was in a terrible, cheap box which is massive. Now everything is is a nice, cardboard box, one third the size.
Pretty cool,I have the same thing but branded Tork Craft here. Orange box too

Day 3

SwissBuck PocketMate - 75mm, based on Wenger V.I.P. - same toolset as Esquire, but larger - just like Vic Ambassador vs. Classic. I miss only a keyring.

I used the nail file. And the nail file is massive - see comparison vs Executive, Pocket Tool Chest and Rambler. It is nice to use.

Day 3

This month is dragging its feet again.  Doesn't do any good to pull on the lead rope.  September will only roll its eyes a little and stay planted.
The pizza cooked up just fine.  I debated letting it brown up a little but decided not to chance it.  It was easy to cut a piece with the Esquire.  I probably would have put a little drop or two of Scorpion pepper on it.  Except I threw out the bottle, along with a little bottle of Ghost pepper sauce.  I like the stuff, but it definitely doesn't like IMR anymore.
Best wishes.  G

Wrench is kinda useful for small nuts and bolts but not if those are tight.

Today I pulled out two more Wenger I had upstairs.
The black classic style has different heads on the tweezer and toothpick, also noticed the same on the TRAVELER in the package.

Also, since the TRAVELER, a pawn shop find a few years ago, printed material dated 12/06, I was more surprised, that the tool set is almost identical to my EVOLUTION 14, which has become a goto tool I discovered during the “tween challenge”!

Be good, and enjoy the day! :hatsoff:

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Great find, especially if the price shown is what you paid!

Another great day, y'awl! :2tu:

Day 3

I've shown nicotine pouches in at least one previous challenge. Now it's nicotine patches.

The packaging cautions against cutting the patch. Scissors greatly lessen that possibility.

Day 3

The Entree, is the Wenger equivalent of the Waiter. No action shots, but it opened a fair number of little bags, packages, etc. today. It's a solid toolset, but doesn't see a ton of carry since it's already damaged and sourcing replacement Wenger parts is pain.

I think the two combo tools are interesting, in that Vic and Wenger sort of "swapped" can openers for them. The Vic one looks kind of like a squared off version of a claw opener, with a flatter end to work as a screwdriver. The Wenger one has the screwdriver tip like the Vic one, and can cut "forwards" like it. I think it's supposed to be a "backwards" but it's not a big difference (it's pretty poor either way).

Day 4

Wenger Esquire did a ride along to Walmart.  Gas prices are down a little, but eggs and milk went up enough to cover the savings.  Things are tough all over.  A raccoon came up to the front door and peeped in last evening.  I waved an arm at it, but it didn't even blink.  Must have thought it was at the take-out window.  I put out a snack later on for the critter.  Nothing worse than a sad sniffly varmint.  Best wishes.  G
