Zippo Bit Safe Lighter Insert.

Here is something a bit strange. An insert that turns your Zippo into a screwdriver at the cost of the lighter being a lighter.

I also bought the black cat Zippo as it reminded me of one of my former cats.

It's a cute idea, but I don't like it. Too few bits, the lid could get in the way of using the bits. It could be a lot better, maybe adding an extender and more bits. As it is, doesn't appeal to me.

This is one of those things that sits on my wishlist, but I'll never buy unless it goes 70% off or something. Cool, but not super useful.

Not too interested in the insert either but I really like the case.  It looks a lot like my Earl.

This caught my eye as an excuse to carry a 2nd Zippo daily, but just haven’t been able to justify.

One of those things you buy now, knowing you’re never going to use it, and then sell it 10 years from now for 5 times the purchase price when they don’t make them anymore and some collector wants it just because.
That’s gonna leave a mark.

Pretty much as I bought a zippo and this as part of my collection. Always cheaper to get in on the ground floor.

Naturally, right after I said I wouldn't get one, I did... It was either pay $15 for the inset or $8 for shipping... Will give it a try and report back.

Definitely going to try this one.  I have two Zippos--a 2015 I bought new at Walmart, didn't get the fuel for (didn't know a local cutlery store sold it), and disassembled (and for some reason, removed the flint, wadding, and wick from)  and recently re-discovered in a box of junk. A couple months ago, after sourcing the parts (and fuel) from the cutlery store, I bought a 2005 secondhand on the way home at an antique store.  I got the 2005 working without a hassle (flint and refill).  But, I figure for the headaches the 2005 will be, I might as well put the bit insert in it and try it.
