Retirement Axe
on: May 11, 2024, 03:36:23 AM
One of my partners and closest friends got me this axe and I just got it the other day.  It's made by Broken Arrow Tactical in Bedford, Pennsylvania.  It's way too nice to use, but it's definitely sharp!

I dunno...I'd be tempted to use it. Sure is a mighty fine axe. Congratulations! :like:

Uniformed officers around the coffee maker filling their morning cups before going on duty.

"Hey McGinty, what's with the new partner?  I thought you rode with Barry"
"You didn't hear?  He got the axe."

One of my old partners got that for me.  We rode midnight shift for years together.  It doesn't happen often, but I was speechless when he showed up with that.

Wow, that beats the heck out of a gold watch any day of the week!   :ahhh

That is a beautiful axe in it's own right, but having it personalized really puts it over the top!

Nice gift!  :like:

I haven't had a need for an axe and so have never looked at any. But if I had ever seen any like that one I would have been sorely tempted to buy it, need or not.

Think of the axe as one of the characters in Toy Story.  Its wants to be played with, and not sit on the shelf.   :tu:
