Wanted to check this out when I went to HF for a few things yesterday, but they didn't have it. Kinda bummed now.

A little iffy on the switch to LM-style bits, I like that most of the other clones can take my "regular" bits.  If this means that we start getting cheaper/more available flat bits, I'll feel a lot better. It does also help keep the weight down and squeeze everything in. Appreciate the tab trick, and build quality/weight comparison, a lot of the other clones I've handled are substantially heavier and poorly finished.

I picked one up from HF today and I have to say that I am ver impressed, especially for the price. The main blade is razor sharp and the fit and finish feels much better than any clone I’ve handled before. Honestly, compared to my Charges TTI I am almost a little disappointed I spent so much for the Charge’s better, but not 4x better feel. The little Gordon feels like a great companion to my Surge and all its accessories.

Out of the box the plier deployment  and jaw operation are both as smooth or smoother than my 3 LMs. Also the jaw grind seems nearly as well finished; a definite step above the other clones. In the closed positions there is a little more wiggle in the arms than my charge, but it stops solid and doesn’t feel mushy like other clones.

I am tempted by one to take with me to work (if I can get one in the UK) rather than take my expensive (but very good) Charge TTi.

Green Bear you have pm.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

I have one from  B/Bury, and it is also very nice.    Every tool is solid and works well.
I think I paid £29 for it including next day delivery from Amazon.
