I like the impossible bottle and the MTo patches...but what are "pop can biscuits?"

Day 21

I used the awl for its intended purpose: making holes.

As you can see, it went through all three layers of the can.

Granted, this was gratuitous usage, but I am glad those execrable things are gone. I just wish I'd stuck with my original plan and tossed them in a bag of dog smurf instead of the kitchen trash can. Yes, they were that bad. If you use nicotine pouches, stay far away from those Juice Head...things.

Noted. I've only had Zyn and On and can't get used to the On. I'll stick with Zyn but id like to find a cheaper one with string peppermint flavor like Zyn

Look in the cold cases where they sell cookie dough, and you will find the 'pop can ' biscuits.  Get a can of Pillsbury Grands and take them home.  You will discover where the 'pop can' moniker comes in when you get ready to cook them.  I am a little surprised that you didn't wonder what apple butter was.  I always thought that was more of a southern thing.  Maybe not.  Best wishes.  G

Day 22:
Took the front license plate off of my wife's suburban to straighten it out. One of the kids probably snagged it with their bike and bent the bottom corner out pretty good.

Day 21

A very late post today. Lots of technical issues at work lately and… I’m tired.

DAY 22  Checking my NCAA bracket.  So far, so good, but round 2 is always where it goes badly.

Day 22: had a birthday party with the in-laws for my son and youngest's birthdays last night. My son got a monster Nerf gun and we had to put some AA batteries in it for it to work. The Philips worked perfectly for the battery compartment screws

Get a can of Pillsbury Grands and take them home.
Makes sense now...I thought it had something to do with soda cans. My Mom used to open Pillsbury biscuits by whacking the can on the countertop.

I’m tired.
Hope you slept okay. I think I ned to implement a "no coffee after 1200" policy.

Another great day, y'awl! :2tu:

Day 22

Today's photo was inspired by Barry.

Testing if the spuds are cooked. Roasted some garlic which I then mixed with sour cream to go with them, pretty tasty

@marlowe221: I think your Day 22 post got lost and wound up in the MacGyver challenge thread.

Day 23

Another Hiker and watch photo. I seem to be defecting to Team Analog. More details on the watch can be found here.

Its got a pretty good flap to it. I had just taken the bandaid off and washed my hands. The worst cut I had had just finally healed up not long ago. Pulled my Knafs Lander 4 out of the sheath without paying attention to where my left thumb was and probably should have gotten stitches. Wasn't about to go to the ER on Super Bowl Sunday though 🤣

Not much happening today either. Turns out that you don’t really need a SAK when most of your daily activities were washing clothes and folding them!
