Farmer X reminded me the other day that I hadn't tried my hand at 3D printing Wenger toothpicks. Finally tried today and... they came out ok. I used this STL file designed by someone else as my CAD skills are mediocre at best.
Wenger toothpickI ended up using version 2 of the designs as that seemed to work best for me. The design could use a little bit more work but it's about 90% there. If you're looking to fill that empty void on your Wenger, this will fit the bill.
In the image below, the original Wenger toothpick is in the middle and there are five 3D printed replacements on either side of it.
I feel like the fitment is about 90% there and a little bit of adjustment to the design will get it to 100%.
For those that are curious, I printed this on an Ender 3 v1. It's a filament printer which is why I couldn't get greater detail on the print than what you see up above. I feel that a resin printer could do a better job. I had to do some post processing by cutting off a bit of stringing but nothing else. Also, I'm pretty sure a filament closer in color to the original Wenger toothpick can be found.
