Interesting Claims
on: September 27, 2024, 09:38:27 PM
From ebay listing, bold underline is from me.

"This 3-inch Swiss Army Knife is a must-have for any Boy Scout or collector. The knife features a serrated blade and a drop point blade, both made of 440 stainless steel with a black mirror finish. The manual opening mechanism and slipjoint lock make it easy to use with both hands. "

"The knife is factory manufactured in China and is an original product from the Swiss Army Knife brand. It comes with a plastic handle and is part of the Serrated Swiss Army Knife product line. This modern folding knife is perfect for everyday use or for outdoor adventures."

Why, even post the listing here!
It is a copy, not at all part of the SAK brand.

The is a fraudulent listing.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

An AI description of a counterfeit piece of smurf. :twak: I'll avoid that seller like the plague, and for whatever good it does, I reported the listing.

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Of course it is crapola, but I sort of like the looks of the thing.....?  Not enough to buy it, but if I saw it at a flea market I would definitely check it out.  Mirror black....mmm.   Best wishes.  G

^^^ Yes that Swiss Army Knife from ...... errrrmmm ...... China

What I want to know is why it is only for Boy Scouts and collectors - They seem to be narrowing their potential market?  ???     - What about the rest of us who regularly use SAKs?

And, of course, like PFRSANTOS...
I am tempted to get one for the black mirror-finish blades,  and the slip-joint lock   :o

Let's be fair here.
It could be that this company could have a "Swiss Army Knife" brand.  They never did say it was a Victorinox or Wenger.  It did seem interesting but I'd be out on ordering one because I don't like serrated blades.

Victorinox has a trademark for Swiss Army Knife. They defend it, too.
