AT&T Cell Phone NEEDED!!

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you have an extra Cingular/AT&T Razr or similar for trade.. I dropped my iPhone, and the screen is cracked.. You can't get the screen replaced, either- which is a real bummer.. Thanks

It started to spider today, so for safety reasons I am not going to carry it anymore.. Damn, this is my second iPhone!

Is it the outer glass?  My friend just replaced his outer glass on his iphone for $100.

Yeah, it is.. I have recently read about that on Mac forums.. You need specialized tools and it voids the warranty.

FYI They aren't terribly hard to dissassemble.  I took mine apart because I dropped it and the aluminum case bent at the volume switches so the volume up was constantly pressed.  It takes a lot of patience and some carefully selected tools, but it's doable.

Even the first generation (2G) iPhones are still going for $250+ so it might be worth repairing.  The cheaper prices for new iPhone 3G's are subsidised prices with 2 year contracts.

Is it a 2G or a 3G phone?

Also keep in mind that even a broken iPhone can bring good money on the bay.

iPhone parts are a premium, sell the iPhone while it's still works on eBay and buy a new discounted one off Amazon,
you'll be better off than waiting til the iPhone goes TU and then you are SOL.
