Day 9

I started the day off by starting some Stuntz motorcycle maintenance (cleaning gears and oiling pivots).

Looks like you're set for just about anything Matzesu! 😊

Day 9

Are those short or long scissors? Does the companion come with the short or long ones?

The Companion comes whit the Same long Scizzors as the Plier Based Flex, when they are folded to "Transport Position" they are about the same lenght like the Blade or the Saw, .. its not a bad pair of Skizzors, but some times the tend to get stuck as the Spring got too much space to move to he side ...

The interesst thing on my 3 Tool Pocket EDC is that i have the same 70 kg on the Bath Scale whit, and whitouth them ..  ^^ I will put them tomorrow on an a bit better Scale and see how much them weight ..

Day 8, Sherry, I really like the Roxon Chisel & Wire Stripper as well. I used my grinder to put in the extra 40 degree extra edge that  Victorinox calls a “cable cover longitudinal cutter” or what I call “ballistic package opener” or I suppose even a “wine foil cutter”.  Such a fun tool to fool around with.

That is a tool that I would like to have on all my MTs  :tu: :like:

Day 9, Sith Lord needed new batteries in his lightsaber. Yeah, disappointed he does not want to be a Jedi, but what can you do  :dunno:

Day 9:

I had to replace the tape measure that I carry on my keys.  The scalpel blade did the trick, but I DO wish I had bought the little package opener for my Flex Companion...   :dunno:

I love the Spirit chisel.  The Roxon isn’t as mice but is closer than any other tool I’ve seen.

My Picture of the day will still have to come, but i did allready weighted the Roxon Flex Companion + the Plier Based + my Swisschamp: They are all together about 500 gramms (metric) ^^ My Ipad Mini is also 500gramms , but they are every Pound worth the extra weight ^^

^^ Ah the good old Victorinox Swisstool Quarter Inch Bits, i had the old Version whitouth the Ratched when i got my Swisstool Back then (this was quite a "brick" of a Tool) , unfortunally i had it in the Bycicle Tool Pouch on my Fully which was stolen around 20 years ago  ..  , but the Flex Companion in combination whit 2 of these NoName Bit Holders works as well

Picture will get postet today, but as im the whole day on work this have to wait..

I'll check in from time-to-time and post the odd pic' when I'm back amongst the white cliffs etc.

Day 10

So, in order to carry the t-shank on the Flex, I've given up the pull cutter and bottle opener/flat head. I don't really need another flat head since I have the ruler/nailfile/flathead tool in and I tested at least 2 other ways of opening bottles.  :drink:

Other comments: I love the Spirit chisel/cutter and I've put the Roxon one to use as well and it is good. I might also grind the corner.

Sorry to hear you're out of the competition Surge. I'm guessing you're not taking a carry-on otherwise you'd be able to set up the Flex GOAT to fit the country(s) you're visiting.

Day 10 (Dix) , I had the Plier and the Companion whit me as well as the Swisschamp, but I did rethink my EDC this evening and did got my S17 Victorinox/Wenger as this way I can use the Blade as it’s much smaller ..
I did use the chisel and the Marlin Spike today, the first one to remove an label, and the Spike to open a knoth on  an pack of jar caps which did work quite nice
As I lack some tools and  I want the tools to be unique (no tool shall there be twice ) I had to attach this  brush on the plier, allthought I don’t know yet what to do whit it.. , the ruler is now on the companion, I think it’s makes more sense there ..

The Companion is also the Multitool Holder which gets at first used : Comp, Ruler, Package Opener, Chisel and Bit Driver, the Plier is for not that needed stuff, some times the Marlin Spike, the Metal Fiile, and the T-Shank Metal and Wood Saw, Hook and Belt Cutter,

And the Victorinox shall be my Knife Blade, Finger Nail Cleaner, Saw, Skizzors, Can, Bottle and Korkscrew Opener as well as Tweezers Holder if I ever catch a thick ..

Day 10, ruler / magnetic grabber is such a unique tool. Just wish the magnet was a bit stronger.
