New here.
Used to frequent the old EDC forums. I've been a tradesman for 40 years. I'm not much of a multi tool user because with the exception of the Leatherman crunch most won't stand up to my use. I do carry stuff both on me and I always have a bag close. An example of my carry on body
Glock 42 & extra mag
SAK Walker
A G.Russell woods walker
Clipper lighter
Billfold
Pen& notebook
Stylus
G-force watch
E3T Olight
Keys.
Don't have time to list bag kits
I have 3 EDC bags All are in 5:11 Moab sling bags
I have a small work tool kit for one for home

Welcome aboard! What trade are you in? I imagine it's a pretty demanding one.

I'm a plumber by trade but I transferred to the emergency maintenance shop about 2 years ago. So I do a little bit of everything

Well not to brag but in plumbing you gotta know pretty much everything, carpentry to install the tub/shower, electrical to hook up the furnace or a/c unit, heck basic health for when the coworker does something stupid and you have to rush to help, lol..

Welcome!

Love the G42/G43, the latter is my daily EDC. Can't beat those slim frame subs.

Your uaer name should have made that obvious. I'm in fleet maintenance for my city, and I've found the ST300 to be a tremendous asset.

Huh, I guess I missed this, yeah the machines because of the pipe threader, I went to a tech high school, I originally went to take automotive but since you had to take all of the courses I changed my mind and took what they called “environmental systems” (hvac/p),, but I also had to take, automotive, electrical, electronics, carpentry, machine, heck even health care and hairdressing, all for a week each, but by the time you finished every course you picked and finished the rest of the year and then took what it required, which was drafting and computer, one part of the hvac was sheetmetal which I majored in, one bad thing about that is it’s conductive! Another kid was playing around with an oil burners ignition transformer, (yeah 10k) and on a metal table which I was also working on, and yes he ended up arching it to the table, yeah I hit the floor, him on the other hand landed on the sheetmetal brake, it was sooo hot and the school didn’t have a/c, but our little class room had a window a/c unit installed in the wall which vented into the workshop, and since we had an accident we had to watch videos all day on safety! I didn’t care cause I enjoyed the a/c. After high school I went to a college with plumbing and the teacher, OMG, his name was “the plumbing doctor” because he had a doctorate in plumbing, and his motto was “still making house calls” he took us out to his van and you could eat off the floor, like wow, talk about clean! One day the class was in the shop and I made a complete run of 1/2”, closed-12”, and in under 2min, he couldn’t believe I did it so I had to make another run while everyone watched, didn’t even turn the threader off, he still didn’t even believe it, he was just soooo by the book, I don’t think he ever worked, my wife(gf at the time) even came to a class because her father was a handyman, and she knew things the teacher didn’t even know, so crazy, but yeah you got to know the basics of everything..
