Me too Rich.  Mine is tight, but like I said earlier, so was my Rebar.  I agree with you on that OHO blade!  Once you go down that path, it's hard to ever go back!
Day 1

Here's my companion for the month - a brand new Bond, still stiff as hell.  It's one with the updated blade shape that's supposedly more safe.  I already have a prediction of what I will write on Day 30 : "I like the portability, but I hate not having a one-hand opening blade."

I'm hoping that the next 30 days will loosen this bad boy up, and that I'll get (a little) used to not having a one-hand opening blade.

Day 1

My companion for the month will be my modified Bond. My goal will be to use as many of the tools as I can this month. Today, we are on painting detail. If we get the second coat on, I will move on to installing base board trim. We will see how it goes.

I never picked up a Bond so I won't be participating this time. Keep the pictures coming though. Great stuff so far.

Day 2

Emptied my pockets for a photo of my usual daily carry. This is what I’ve been taking to work with me.

The Spyderco is an Ambitious, a new acquisition so I can have a one hand opening blade for emergencies while I’m doing the Bond Challenge.

The Squirt ES4 was bought used a month or so ago and just found its way into a pocket.

The Micra and Raptor are pretty much daily carries, especially when my main Leatherman is a model without scissors.

The Bond will take priority and will be used wherever possible, of course, and hopefully there will be some action photos throughout the month.

Day 2

Blade shape differences.  Seems Leatherman changed the blade shape some time in 2023, haven't quite narrowed down the time frame, but the top Bond is from 2022, the bottom one is from 2023.

It seems as though if the Bond has that little cutout (shown above the star in the photo), it will have the top blade shape.

Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.
