Day 15
The PowerPint is not the best SOG tool to choose for puttering in one's garden.
Today's fixie is the ESEE JG3.

Alan, the Micarta on your knife looks comfortable. I bet it gives a good grip when your hand is wet.

Excellent job JonesE!  I'll second your sentiments on a functional file.

That's a great pic Alan!  I like Esee products.

It is very grippy. A rough texture but not enough to be uncomfortable.

The PowerPint makes a better pointer than the icon on Google maps.

Day 16
I've got about 30 pineapple plants that haven't produced any fruit in several years.  I guess we finally had the right amount of rain at the right time because I'm now growing 5 pineapples.  Ain't that a peach?

:iagree: Fresh pineapple sounds excellent, though I'd probably badly mutilate it trying to get that tough rind off.

I woke up to temperatures under 40 degrees outside. Wanna trade, Alan?

Sure. I'm always up for a trade if you can wait until July or August when it is 90 degrees and 90% humidity and there's a storm in the lower Atlantic.

Came outside this morning to enjoy the morning air with the Boss Lady.  Used the PowerPint to cut my cigar in half.  I generally smoke half a day.

We'll get similar temperatures on occasion, but that level of humidity is a bit much for me.

More great stuff, y'awl! :tu: I'm kinda surprised I haven't started pricing SOGs on eBay...

I have been pricing SOGs on E-bay.  You'd be amazed at how cheap you can pick up a PowerLock. Recently saw one for $29 and another for $35. :pok: :pok:

Great pic Kaevin!  Both of my sons are swimmers.  The oldest was a competitive swimmer.

The Boss Lady and I are sitting out back waiting on a call from the doctor about her leg.  She's having severe pain.  Already been treated for bursitis and had X-rays.
All I can do is offer sympathy and drink my peach tea.

Thanks. While I am not a fast swimmer, I am not too bad either. I can do 100m a little under 2 minutes or do 1000m under 25 minutes. Not competitive but not too bad for an average person. But knowing how to swim is completely different from knowing how to teach it. Especially when your kids are uneasy with water.  It's good to learn how to help them ease that step by step.
