I pulled a pack of deer tenderloin out of the freezer on the 24th. Planned it for breakfast today, then pushed it back. Woke up tonight after falling asleep without doing it

. Here is my midnight, low effort attempt at pan fried venison tenderloin. 😂
Pre mixed seasonings from Lane’s BBQ:
3 with sweet lemon pepper
3 with sweet heat
3 with spellbound (another spicy sweet mix they have)
Pan fried in olive oil and finished with butter on top of each in the pan. That’s it.
I like my venison to be more on the well done side. Some will balk at that, but I cooked these to around 160. Some went a little over. I ate one of them before sticking the rest in the fridge. It is good! Tender, not super chewy, tasty. I may try a lower temp in the future, but the tenderloin is a choice cut so it came out good regardless of temp.
Praise the Lord for His provision of this deer!
