I could never figure that out Nate. I have an honest to goodness No. 12, and that blade would be great for outdoors. I have an early version of the 12 with the cutting hook. It's not bad, but I could definitely do without the hardware in the handle too! Thanks for posting that comparison pic!
Day 25 I'm going to have to look up the word 'nixie'. I thought a nixie was a negative pixie. Pixie +, Nixie -. Sounds like a lot of negative happenings to friends in this challenge. Friend Aztec dealing with a moronic onslaught. Friend Gra-farmer dealing with sick children. Could be due to excessive nixie negativity floating around. Not making light of anyone's problems. I would gladly send out a phalanx of pixies to bring good things into your lives. Unfortunately, I never learned how. It was probably a bit of overkill to take my EZ Out to open a little plastic bag of twirly pasta. It did do the job. To make this even more annoying, I might as well show a before and after. I heard an Irish someone say that Americans call everything a 'salad'. Might be true. Salad is healthy, right? So, anything that gets the appellation of salad must be healthy as well. The box said 'pasta salad'. Boiled squirrely shaped noodles with some seasonings and desiccated vegetable fragments. Little pack with mystery ingredients you have to mix with mayo for the dressing. It will fill the bill anyway. I would prefer a cheeseburger salad with french fries covered in tomato dressing. Wouldn't even need a knife for that. Best wishes. Look in to the Outdoor Cuisine section to see details. I decided to host this thing and as wildly popular as this challenge is, there are still a limited number of openings to participate. G
Great pic and love those temps!
How does that nixie thermometer operate? Do you have a link for this awesome looking contraption?
