Anyone else collecting silver coins?

I never collect to sell, so I never look at things as an investment. However, I have been collecting the odd 1 Troy Ounce silver coins for a few years now...mostly adding the few I come across that I like the design. My first was a Sooter's Photography silver bar that my father gave me back in the 80s. Sooter's was a photography store chain in Canada that would take the silver from developing film and convert that into small coins, or bars.

Here are the ones I currently have.

Does anyone else collect silver coins? Just curious.

I can hardly call it a collection but I got an old 0.800 proof one from the late 1800s here somewhere. It is a bit worn as it was in regular circulation before it at some point became a family inheritance thing.

I have a silver anniversary coin that I've been always keeping in my wallet  On one side, it has patterns similar to Dong Son bronze drum patterns. The other side says: "Anniversary to 990 years of Thăng Long - Hà Nội", celebrating the number of years since the city was founded

I don't collect silver coins but I keep a dozen or so 1 oz. silver Krugerrands at hand for emergencies. You see in case of vampires they can easily be turned into .454 balls for my Walker
