Hello from Finland
on: January 01, 2025, 05:56:00 PM
Hi everyone. I'm Krista and I'm a multitool holic. I have been collecting leatherman and SAK tools couple yars now. Nothing too rare or exotic, but I'm totally into modding my tools. Thats why I have more parts than actual multitools. My beloved tools are modified arc and super surge I have shown earlier at hacked leatherman owners club.

Once again happy new year and may the tool be with you.

Thanks Antti. I'm already down there. I'll hope this Forum will give me inspiration to tinker with my current multitools so that I don't have to keep buying new ones.

Since you asked, here is my Marttiini collection and the first one on the left my favourite fixed blade J.P. Peltonen ranger.

All great user knives. Peltonen is a great camping knife. Excellect for batoning and feather sticking. The second one from the left Silver carbinox is a knife I have had since I was teenager and doesn't get so much use anymore. The third is Sissipuukko, jack of all trades, I have used for camping and hunting.  The fourth is mtx hollow grind I have used for spilicing a deer if I don't use special boning fillet.

Thanks. Those are only my finnish ones. I tend to like practical rubber handles over traditional wood. They are easier to maintain.

Did someone say Finnish knives?

Okay, I cheated, it's Swiss, but it was made for a Finnish Battalion doing UN duty in the Golan Heights in the early 80's!

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Yes it is, from the early 80's.  My father was military and had sent some of his people to be part of the UN force in the Golan Heights and one of his sergeants brought this knife back for him, and a Camper each for me and my brother.  If it weren't for that Camper (and this Champion) this site probably wouldn't exist.   :D

So you see, it is a very important Champion for many reasons!  :tu:
