Hmmm, baling twine. I could see how 5 or 10 feet wouldn't be too hard to carry, and could be useful. This challenge is not good for my pockets.

Day 27

Camper maintenance and opened a can of Rotelle. Forgot to take a pick of the King Ranch Chicken after.

Day 27

Drove all day today so I could get home… so I can go to work tomorrow. Doesn’t help that the hotel opted to go with concrete for their mattresses…

Day 25:

I spent Friday evening watching videos from NOAA’s recent dives on the wreck of USS Yorktown at Midway. There’s a mural painted on the wall of one of the aircraft elevator shafts that’s still in great condition, even after 83 years at 3 miles underwater. Fascinating stuff.

That's pretty cool.
Nice field watch/NATO  :salute:

Day 23
Wife and i took a walk on the beach after brunch.
Here's a few pics of the Indian Ocean from the Snake Park Beach pier [there used to be a snake/reptile house near here].
The Durban Harbour control tower is on the Bluff,on the far right of the first image.

Day 28

I used this challenge as an excuse to watch a couple of old MacGyver episodes over the weekend.  I remember when Richard Dean Anderson used to be on General Hospital trying to deal with his nutty girlfriend Heather.
I was offered up cutesy beach bunny photos of Jessica Tarlov again this morning.  Her choice has to be from some kind of profile of me.  Some microprocessor has decided what I need is an unsmiling younger woman whose voice makes me cringe.  My choices this past week have been Jessica, Kaley Cuoco, Caitlin Clark, Megyn Kelly, and some 27 year old blonde whose name I didn't recognize.  I'm sure having any one of these women around the house screaming curses and throwing things would be a treat.
When I was in college, my roommate decided to redecorate my side of the room.  He took the centerfold dolly photos from his stack of Penthouse magazines and wallpapered my area above my bunk.  Ha, ha.  I ignored it like I ignored everything else he did.  From then on all visitors to our fifth-floor cell block figured out that I must be some kind of player.  He also made a false ceiling by upholstering the pipes with toilet paper.  Hung a paper orb with a light in the center.  He burned holes in the big paper ball with a cigarette to make it look like a disco ball.  At night he would plug it in and spin it.  It made glittering spots of light on the paper tootsie gallery on my side of the room.
Do you think somebody typed all this foolishness into some database?  IMR likes photos of......?  Could there have been a camera inside that homemade disco ball?  Hmmm?
Best wishes.  G

Apologies for not keeping up with the postings.

Worked late on Friday, and went to an archery challenge on Saturday.  Saturday evening, came home to a lagomorph that was no longer with us.  The whole family was sad Saturday evening into Sunday.  She's resting peacefully in the backyard.  She was an old bunny so we were expecting it, but it still felt too soon.
