Last night we had a storm. Between extra cold temperatures, snow, freezing rain etc we have been having bad weather for a while.
The internet cable on my house blew around so much that it was hanging really low over the road.
A city worker (I assume) noticed it and put pylons on the road to keep people from running into it and making it worse.
At 5:41 this morning the smurfing bus went by, didn’t even slow down for the pylons, caught the wire and ripped the whole smurfing thing off my house.
I have no internet at home and everyone in the neighbourhood is still driving through the pylons.
Why do people think blocked roads don’t apply to them? Especially professional drivers like bus drivers, who are supposed to have an even better idea of how to operate safely?
Considering how many people are run over by buses in this city every year i should count myself lucky that they just damaged my house and knocked out my internet.
