In the era of power tools both gas and electric, I don’t have much need for an axe.  But I did find my grandpas old axe buried in the garage. I’ve started putting and edge back on it, but the handle is warped and dried to the point of cracking so probably need to replace it.

Nice!  I just picked up two hatches from my Aunt's house when we cleaned it out.  They were my grandpa's.  One is missing a handle so I'm going to have to get a replacement for that one.
