Maxpedition Platy Pocket Organizer

Looks like Maxpedition just released a new pocket organizer called the Platy. It comes in two sizes 4”x 6” and 5” x 7”.  The price is around 20 USD. There are four color options, black, wolf gray, olive  drab, and multicam. It looks great and I got the 4” x 6” in wolf gray on order. Looks like they start shipping middle to the end of next month depending on where you order.

The only thing I noticed that maybe a concern is that the neck strop parachrod just has an overhand knot on the end. This is great if you plan to remove it like I do. However, if I were to retain it I would install a break away thing a ma gig in case it ever got snagged on something.

I saw those in an email, and as someone who recently switched from jeans to cargo/tactical pants, it's just what I need to organize the leg pocket. Should also work great for the front right pocket.

For carrying the average-size multitool, a handful of small tools (125mm Pliers Wrench and Cobra, PB Swiss 6464, mini prybar of some sort--usually Snap-On these days), a pen (coincidentally, the same Rite in the Rain used in photos), and a light--more than what I need. Small stuff should fit great in the  zippered compartment.
