Range Collector level 3
on: October 21, 2025, 08:28:45 PM
I forgot a couple from level 1 request, and I guess I'm now a collector. I just had to snatch some rare and discontinued models, now looking for more. The current lineup (still with the SwissCard that feels like cheating):

136mm Evoke

130mm Ranger 55 Onyx Black

120mm Wenger Everest

111mm Forester Wood

93mm Pioneer X Alox

91mm Climber

85mm Wenger Forester

84mm Elinox Watch Case Opener

84mm Bantam Alox

65mm Wenger Esquire (old, no scale tools)

58mm Classic Alox

SwissCard blade

How am I doing?

:like: The Watch Case Opener in particular looks to be in fantastic condition.

It's never been used. No idea how that happened, or how old it is.

:hatsoff: I have a Wenger equivalent that has seen little, if any, use. And perhaps oddly, it doesn't have a logo.

Excellent set! And you managed to get them without knowing to be a collector. Imagine what you can achieve consciously from now on!

Nice collection but i think every tool should be different size for badge and seems you got 2 84mm on picture

Millimetre-wise, yes, according to Sakwiki, just totally different type and model. But if them's the rules, I'll try again later

I think we need to relook at this one
We did say earlier that ‘size’ strictly = length
But these two 84mms are such very different SAKS and ‘shapes’ and therefore sizes IMHO
My rule would be SAK frame length and shape has to be different to qualify
So these two would be different
But a Wenger regular 85mm and a Wenger Pocketgrip would not be!
But even that could be contentious 😮 as the frame is the same but the length is different.
Let me chat w the team!

Hi JtZ

We had a wee back stage chat and have agreed that different shape SAK frames do count as different 'sizes'
And therefore you have qualified for the L3 badge - Congratulations    :climber:    :drink:

Your Level 1 and 2 - Have been removed as they are, of course, superseded by the Level 3
