Electrician and Harvester/7 mods, plus...
on: December 01, 2025, 08:55:16 PM
If Imgur cooperates, Ill show some pics of my mods. I had to change the Electrician's small blade to something actually useful, and ground on both sides. Also, I can't enjoy a Swiss Army knife without Philips capability, so I ground the large drivers to work on flat and Philips screws. On the Electritian, which was the trial mod, I tried to make it able to catch and hold a can's lip, and open cans, but it didn't work. It doesn't look as good as the Harvester's driver, but they both work on both kinds of screws quite well.

The plus is, I also had a sheath custom made by Sharpandfiery on the Blade forums for my Farmers. He does some excellent work, and is quite nice to deal with. The Kydex sheath works very well...

Thanks for lookin'.

Interesting mods! What  did you not like about the original electrician blade?

Not a fan of the chisel grind or the arc in the edge for wire work. It seemed to just get hung up on things. Now it’s a nice little sheepsfoot and very sharp.
