I have seen one of these multis before.  Probably on MTO.  I don't remember what they are.  Anybody want to identify it?  Best wishes.  G

Still nobody wants to identify the mystery multi.  Looks a little like an old SOG Toolclip, but I don't think it is.  Best wishes.  G

I knew I had seen one somewhere.  I was thinking Utica for some reason.  If it was a Kabar, then it was probably pretty good.  There have been a passel of plier+blades type multis that look similar to this thing.  The one in the movie doesn't have a clip, I think.  The member in the link did mention that there are some clipless knock-off of the Kabar.  Ruko was one he mentioned.  I think I had a Ruko (German?) knife ages ago.  It was pretty good quality actually.
I have thought several times of taking the clip off my Wingman.  Then I thought about how sad it would look all in pieces in a box somewhere, which is a possibility.  The most annoying thing about the Wingman clip is how wiggly it is.  You can tighten the screws until it doesn't wiggle, but then you can't open the blade.
The member who had 3 or 4 Voss multis had some European made tools that resembled the Kabar, so it isn't a completely original idea.  Thanks for the info and link.  Now I won't have to keep aggravating everybody about this one.
Best wishes.  G

I originally thought it might a Voss but then I found the other link.  I knew I had it seen somewhere but I just couldn't remember.
