Okay, I'm a bit early on this one, but that's because I am a little extra excited about this episode!
I'm the first to admit that I always talk about each episode like it's our greatest one yet, and, given how low we set the bar in the early days, the episodes usually are better than the previous one. But have they all been Emmy Award Winning?
No. We wuz robbed.
But that is going to change with this episode.
Okay, so we probably still aren't going to win an Emmy, but that doesn't take away from how cool this episode is going to be.
Why do I think it's so cool?
Simple- Abe isn't in it.
Just kidding.
Well, sort of.
Abe was unavailable so I asked another old buddy of mine to step in, and if you have been around on teh forum long enough, you will know him as Chris@SOG.
Chris's support of MTO in the early days was legendary- that's why the SOG forum is at the top of the list, and always has been. SOG was always very supportive of us, and that is a large part of why MTO is as great today as it is, and all that happened because Chris believed in the Little Forum That Could.
So in a few hours when this episode posts, I want everyone to take the time and check it out- because Chris shares with us some absolutely great stories and some extremely valuable background info on the knife industry in general. Some of our episodes haven't really been great, I'll admit, but this one will keep you locked in the whole time.
I really hope you all like it, because I'd love to have an excuse to bring him back again in the future- we barely scraped the surface!
If you don't like this episode, in the immortal words of Chris Cashbough, the MTO Member formerly known as Chris@SOG, "You've failed at life."
