Sodbuster anyone?
on: March 11, 2009, 02:44:50 AM
I've been carrying my Case Sodbuster Jr. lately, and I have to say, I forgot what a pleasure this knife is to carry.  A simple, no frills worker made tough and reliable.  There is a certain charm to these little guys that is...... contagious.  One knife blade.  Simple, ergonomic handle.  Can't open cans, pop bottle caps, or turn screws.  Has no tooth pick or tweezer.  Doesn;t have another blade in the handle getting in the way when in use.  All it does is cut, but DAMN can it cut.
Does anyone else carry one of these little bad boys?

I know what you are talking about I had a SODBUSTER Jr. and traded off to a friend.

I have a bone handle John Primble stockman. Its been awhile since I taken it out, sometimes you just got to go "old school".   ;)

One of my favorite knife patterns, especially one in carbon steel.  I believe Kissing Crane makes one in D2 at around the $20 mark.
