Well I doubt there's much in it performance wise

I requested a quote on a flat-grind carbon-steel #3...waiting for a reply on it.

Well according to the folks I bought mine from, the factory is currently working flat out on fulfilling a contract for the Canadian Military, so if you can't find someone with them in stock, you may have a bit if a wait on your hands

For some reason, I'd doubt that story...

Oh yeah, that's right, the military is buying cheap knockoffs now!

I told them that, and they said it was a case of all the production being shifted to No3 to cover the contract, so i guess there not making anything but No3 atm.
