Although i'm not sure what brand that knife is, but it doesn't seem to be in the same class as the Leatherman.
In short; you need a Chris Reeve Mnandi to go with such a tool.  :D

they actually hold up quite well.a charge AL will scratch easier.and no,it has no scratches on it yet, touch wood, but it certainly looks like its being used.

That surprises me, I'd have thought they would be quite soft. I tend to carry a TTi in preference to the Al scaled Charges for that reason tbh.

What are the laws like in Eire for carrying locking blades?
I used to come here a lot.

Wow good on ya Gav for using the sterling Charge. It would be funny if you had to send it into LM for a repair. "Holy Crapp someone is actually using a Sterling Silver tool, do we have parts for these  :o:P :D.

More pics mate , please. :pok:

The silver handles are supposed to distract the constabulary :police: so they do not notice the locking blades.  >:D

the knife laws here are very strict.if ur caught with a knife its straight to court for you.multitools and SAKs are acceptable and i only carry the knife when im at work.i clip it off the sheath everywhere else and leave it at home.i never go anywhere without a leatherman though and havent had any hassle yet.about the silver charge, you would think that the handles would be soft but its actually very durable.its been dropped a few times and no mark left.ive been using it every day since last september.i made the decision to use it because the truth is i just wanted to.we're here for a good time, not a long time!

A customs charge on an old Cadet?  That sucks.

Was there something else with it or did you get it from a seller who doesn't know how the forms work?  ;) :D

The latter :(  They won't be getting added to my nice sellers list.  It won't stop me bidding on their stuff again (assuming I still can after the 10th) but it will severly limit what I'll bid.
