Well yes I have actually I have just got a new car , well its not exactly new . Its a 1998 Ford Escort Estate . So yesterday I was taking out the old stereo system from my soon to be scrapped Beemer . The Spirit was great for removing trim and pulling through wires . But it was the butter knife blade that really caught my attention . I had to cut some wire ties and the blunt tip was great because I didn't have to worry about a point digging into the wires while I cut .

I actually really like the butter knife on the Spirit. I think its just its unusual looks that put people off, its a very capable blade.

Another plus for the blade is it makes quite a good blade for use in first aid .

Spirit came in very handy today, multiple cable ties on cables needed cutting and had to install a snake (multicore) onto a reel (which was a fun job

While I was cleaning my car I noticed the pin in the handle for the sunroof was coming out .Out came the Spirit

I went Geocaching yesterday for the first time and got a thorn stuck in my hand while scrambling about in the woods

Used my Spirit to remove the thorn . and today I used the butter knife blade to cut a webbing strap on a boat trailer . Its very tuff stuff that they use on lorry straps and much thicker then a car seat belt . Went through it like a hot knife through butter

I bet you carry a PE folder along with it? Although it's smaller than the Swisstool I reckon the Spirit is plenty strong and close to being the perfect MT.

Yes I paired it with a Vic Farmer yesterday . A Climber is another good choice to pair . I still do EDC the full size Swisstool but mainly for heavy jobs but this may change as I gain more confidence in the Spirit , that butterknife blade does hove some awsome cutting power but then I've always been a fan of Vic serrations . The Swisstool is still one of my favourites though
