where is the ruler ? The scissors are awful and should have the regular scissors like the Swisstool has. This is what has prevented me from getting a Spirit X. Swisstool is a touch more heavy duty. Spirit has the nicer chisel but thats about it

What a beautiful tool, my concern: Does this tool scratch easily? I mean... It is a tool so might get damaged quickly with such a smooth surface?

I've not had it happen, and I've used both the Spirit and the bigger Swisstool for some hard uses.

Almost sounds too good to be true lol.

And about the bit holder with wrench, Can I just fit every bit I buy at the construction market into the wrench and bitholder?

For the ratchet I think you need a certain bit? Or can you just put any bit in the ratchet aswell?

Im in doubt for the ratchet or wrench. I would like to use my own bits I already have. They also have to fit in the holder.

The Swisstool is a nails breaker (at least on mine) , Swisstool Spirit designed MUCH better in this case.
Scissors on the Spirit is not bad actually.
There is no perfect multitool, but for me, no multi-tool has yet been found to replace my Swisstool Spirit X.

I also love my Spirit and wish they had the regular SAK Scissors.

They're standard bits.

Carrying it for the last couple of weeks reminded me of how much I love mine.  I carry the Swisstool RS for work and love it too, but the Spirit is almost a work of art.  It's definitely tougher than it's good looks might have you think.

So after weeks of obsessed searching for the right tool...

I think I come to to conclusion that its going to be a Spirit X  :D

Now I need to make up my mind of I go for the L wrench or for the Ratchet....

I know the ratchet has problems with bits falling through of you push to hard. Is that problem solved when you always use the extender? Can you push the extender through the ratchet?

Wrench just looks more sturdy, but ratchet looks more useful.

I cant carry both, help me please

I carry both, with facing red plastic bit holdes (one set of bits stored fully enclosed in the two parts.

Another option is going for the L wrench and adding a Facom/USAG/KS TOOLS/whatever 180° ratchet like the Facom R.180 ratchet (see the ratchet thread, there are many variants available). This option adds quite some features (but isn't as pretty as the Vic)

Thanks!! Are you able to push the extender through the ratchet like you can pull the bits through?

Thanks for your reply, I would love to but I dont think it all will fit into the "plus sheath"?

No, you can't push the extender through the ratchet, but you can push/pull the bits through the ratchet with some resistance.
Picture #2 for example, that's exactly how the extender sits in the ratchet.

Awesome!

Think I will buy the wrench version and try to find the ratchet without the bitkit. As the wrench version is 40 Euro cheaper.

Amazon swisstool ratchet sold out  :(

Probably not,
I don't use the original sheath, it tuck these into my hand bag
I love the Vic ratchet, but R.180+extender (or any other brand variant) is a much better deal, features wise.
