Exactly my friend!  I love mine, especially with the butter blade.  The Spirit is a quality multi tool that packs a punch way above it's size.  I'm really interested in the one hand opening blades but can't quite swing the cost right now  :facepalm:

Coming into this as a huge Spyderco fan I was once all onboard with one handed opening being great.

That said after years of Spirit carry I can safely say it’s meh. The number of times I “needed” OHO I can very much count on one hand. On one hand, see what I did there?

I love my Spirit.  The black is my most used just because it always sits on my one side table.

This serrated blade is perfect for cutting cardboard. The scissors are now my favorite for cutting zip ties. Used the Phillips, pliers, and wire stripper to remove our video doorbell and reinstall the original. Pliers and Philips also removed a couple more furniture tip kits. And, the can opener 3mm flat head removed outlet cover screws to replace child safe with original.

That's my model.  That blade is an incredible cutter and the tool set is as close to perfection as I could want.  I can hardly wait to carry mine again.  I may never take it off my belt again  :rofl:

I hope they do not discontinue the "regular" Spirit opening blade, because with OH blade they make big mistake to shorten the blade, compared to regular Spirit.

I have both. Expecting my "new" OHO tomorrow after sending in my original for repair due to excessive lateral play in the pliers. They are sending me a new tool. I think I prefer the non- OHO version more. Smoother in the pocket and slightly more comfortable to me when using. I have strong nails and so opening has not been an issue for me.
