I bought it yesterday, very rare in Hong Kong!

   I'd love one of the them   but they are a bit expensive  :(

Dunc

Yea, it quite expensive than other Victorinox's, but the HK store has Chinese New Year sale, than I buy it with a cheaper price...

A few Euro dealers have them , with exchange , shipping , duty it would be close to $300.00 landed .

I'm second to none in admiration for the Spirit , but thats too rich for my blood .

It seems pretty average by the time you pay shipping and VAT etc etc , plus import duty on our end .

You could always "proxy" one through a EU member. ;) I bought mine for around 92 euros shipped to my place so do the math and shoot some PMs. :)

Are they sold in EU? I though they were a limited run.

I thought so too when <some guy> (::)) was trying to sell them on <some other forum>, some time ago... They're quite readily available around here (even spotted a couple in a shop downtown).

Ah crap. It's happened. I'm addicted to Victorinox now.

That same thing happened to me a couple months ago, I'm still broke.

BTW, I just got my first spirit last week, and it is the best MT I have ever owned.  I love this tool!  Can't beat Vic quality.

I EDC yhe Spirit/CT combo. Only thing I ever find myself missing are Allen keys. Thinking of getting the Plus wrench kit and adding a selection of Allen keys to that. Pretty sure you could assemble/disassemble/fabricate/fix/do anything with that set up.

My first Spirit just showed up in the mail and I couldnt be more pleased. This thing is built like a brick ****house  :o  I kinda like the serrated "butter" knife as it's referred to. I think I'll try this as an EDC for awhile

This is my first vic, and as soon as I picked it up I said to myself:

"An elegant weapon, for a more civilized age"

I hate to beat this thing but I think it can take it.

Haha yeah I babied mine for a long time. It's so pretty it's almost hard to even use it. But don't worry, I've used it for everything from opening mail, to changing a water pump, and it's taken it all in stride. It's one tough little smurf. I've found it scratches pretty easily, and I've deformed the Phillips a very slight bit, but nothing that actually effects function. It all just adds character. Don't be afraid to use it just as hard as you would your old Charge, if not harder. She'll take it in stride.
