TWO :o

well ill see about a pic later but I tell ya this for sure replaces my other ones, I love it.  I opeted for no ratchet and stuff becasue I liked the smaller sheath and already have a small ratchet and bit holder that works good.
Sheath was the main factor my sog has the bulky "fut other stuff in it" one and sure i have but naaa this is my new edc, if i need more i add more poutches for specific days.

shame I waited this long to get it!

Ya as much as I love the ratchet and the wrench I had to ditch them because of the extra bulk they created.  I do love the ratchet though and I carry the plus kit in my carry bag when I take that, but for EDC it's the Spirit solo.

Well the tool is working out well so far!
love the "butter Knife" as i have seen
Just a thought when looking over the tool, why a 2mm and 3mm screwdriver and beside each other?
you guys found a need that requires a speration between the two?

Also what tool do you carry to support this tool? the tool covers many areas so where is it lacking for another tool to pick up the slack.

I can see the ratchet bit set would be a nice side carry,  I was thinking maybe a small socket knife the the escort for the small straight blade. whats the opinion out there?

Peace

I carry a Tenacious as dedicated OH folder, and JetBeam AA lamp.

Some say that the best supplement to spirit is Vic CT34. I still don't have it, but I will soon...  ;)

Hay thanks for the reply

CT34 is an interesting addition I would not have thought of that but I like it, however it does offer many of the same tools that are already on the spirit tho.

Do you mean the thin fine screwdriver vs. the one on the end of the can-opener?  I like the long fine one, obviously if the screw is recessed this driver works, it's shape also is less prone to slippage.  The can-opener one is also shaped to work with Phillips.  Mine are not beside each other, but separated by the dedicated Phillips .

Good to hear you're enjoying the tool over all.

Where's the best (cheapest) place in the U.K to acquire one of these magnificent tools? Thanks.

When I was looking last year I found that it was best to go to Felinevet.  Some UK sites came close in price but Tim has such a good reputation (and came through with flying colours) that I decided to give him my business.

I've been looking to buy my first Spirit and just came across this.

www.amazon.co.uk/Victorinox-30239l-Swisstool-Ratchet-Leather/dp/B004TRS17E/ref=sr_1_49?ie=UTF8&qid=1301086030&sr=8-49

At least it has free shipping.  :ahhh
