Healthy Lunch
on:
March 26, 2007, 01:52:50 AM
I've been on a health kick to try & eat healthier for the past year or so. Here was my lunch today.
Anyone else ever try this kind of diet? I'm starving by 4:00.

In case you can't tell, that's carrots, cauliflower, turkey, cheese sticks, cherry tomatoes, celery, red bell peppers, & grapes clockwise.

Don't forget the bag of Dorito's on the side.
Maybe you should try Slimfast Tom... it goes great with Nacho's...

I have really been trying to eat healthier but to be honest, I am just not that good at it. I just don't care for most healthy foods, and I have never really been a fan of most vegetables.

Unfortunately I cheat all too often. My choice is usually chocolate. I never was one for cakes & pies too much.

One suggestion for cutting down on 'unhealthy' sodas:
http://www.polarbev.com/products_seltzer_blackcherry.html
Seltzer!
I like Polar and Adirondack brands...absolutely nothing in it except carbonated water and flavor. It goes down like soda, but doesn't have that 'thick' aftertaste. I think a case of 12 cans is around $5.

Indeed...it's a lot 'crisper' also. I'm going to see if there are any buried in the back of my fridge now...
EDIT:
I just saw they had Vanilla seltzer...I don't know if that would be any good...

You know what the big problem with salad is? Not enough meat...

Ya can allways tell New Englanders we love our Polar flavors! But if they would only bring back Blackstone Potatochips.
