Well, if you live in Toscana, you could invite my wife and I to stay with you...

At least I'd find that quite interesting  :D

You welcome!
I can arrange something (i.e. cheap lodging and guided tours) for this summer... I live in the "Chiantishire"* ;) but I have no room in my home for guests :)

*"Il Chianti" is the zone between Firenze and Siena, home of the Chianti wine.

The most perfect place I've ever been.  If I could speak enough Italian to get a job there, I'd move tomorrow.

Welcome!

(And don't be surprised if you get an PM from me at some point in the future  ;))

Isn' t Exeter in in Northern California?
I went there in uhm... february? march? I don't remember, but it was arriving from Nevada, and first a saw a beautyful lake, then orange, wine, hills, olives too... a nice place with kind people and quiet...

I don't think it was the one lucky day in the year, wasn't it? :D

Sorry, no. In UK I liked Spondon, near Derby, or London itself... other than few more places, what I know of UK comes from Doctor Who :D

Spondon. Christ that's a bizarre place to visit, I don't go there and it's just round the corner from me!

I have spent some time in Italy myself, and yes, I could very easily live there, best food in Europe bar none.

I used to come here a lot.

Sorta Southeast of Fresno.  Folks in LA call it Northern California.  San Francisco call it Central California.  Northern California is another 300 km north.  And yes.  Jan to May that part of California is lovely.  Come June, the sun bakes it to a crisp until late September.
