Can anyone recommend a good, steel 1/2 person cooking set please :)

Preferable one that is big enough to store a Trangia meths burner in :)

Thanks in advance :)

Are you asking for a multiple pot set or just a single pot with the capacity for two? Does it need a bail for hanging over a fire? How elaborate will the meal cooking be? Do you watch Gladiator movies?

I don't often need much more than boiling water for instant meals and can get by with a small pot or Tea kettle along with a large mug per person.

I can't imagine Mike wants much more.  He is king of the pot noodle ;)

(because he's a sick puppy :P )

Nope my boy, Ben's always off trying to kill something a lot bigger than he is :D

Yeah I'd like something similar to the Swedish Army Trangia if possible :)

The Swede messkit was made in both stainless steel and aluminum. I only have the aluminum versions but maybe you can find one of the steel ones.

The pot would be large enough to make pot noodles for two or three...

There's these inexpensive Optimus 77 clones...I bought it for about 20 USD. The burner is garbage, but the aluminum pots and windscreens are nicely made...a Trangia burner can be substituted.

I think they may be available in the UK...Aldis or Lidlls from reading the Brit Bushcraft forums.
