One thing I'm noting is the pivot screws, which look a lot like those on the Gerber 800 tool (which is made in the US) So perhaps this one is domestically made too?Makes sense if it is, from marketing point of view. Take your typical gun owner in u.s. (and Canada) and their attitude on China, made in China just won't fly quality or not.

I don't know why people are so hung up on where something comes from. It's almost impossible to live in the west and not be surrounded with products made in the east. My house would be 90% empty if I only had things made in the UK I suspect. Such is the nature of the global market eh?I have plenty of quality items made in China including a brilliantly priced Byrd Meadowlark which is excellent value. There are many exceptions to every rule in the subject I'm sure but I feel like it's borders on xenophobia when a specific country is constantly accused of making crap. The laptop I'm typing on was probably made mostly in China, the clothes on my back were probably from India/Malaysia or somewhere close, my phone sure as hell wasn't made in the UK or the US in fact, I'm one of the very few things in this room which was made in the UK Why can't we discuss quality in respect of the individual tool etc without slagging off China?
