I've use a Leatherman Kick belt clip on mine.
Because I've replaced the knife pivot with a bolt, the clip fits under the head (on the opposite side to the brass thumb nut in the pictures). To stop it rotating I just used two dabs of MIG weld at the edge.

Ok so there was a screw that broke off when trying to attach a butt hinge.  Only the tiniest of tip was left exposed.  It was so small that the standard small ViseGrip could not hold it with enough force to twist out the broken  off screw.

However, the Crunch jaws are pretty finely machined and I was able to grab enough to twist it out a bit at a time until I could get a proper hold of it:

So, I have to remove the rivets and use torx replacements to do that.

You remove the knurled Crunch screw and replace it with the torx screw included with the Kick Pocket Clip.
Going by the pics you will need to do a little work to the Crunch handle so the pocket clip sits right.
Have a look at this thread for an idea of what I mean. Of course I could be wrong and metro or matt will correct me.

Gerber Grappler

Being a fan of the Crunch, I was interested when I spotted a Gerber Grappler in a shop. I asked for a look at it - well, I couldn't hide my distaste, the thing was just horrible! It was huge and heavy, the self-locking mechanism adjustment was difficult to get to. The over-centre action, almost feels like it reduces the power felt at the tips of the jaws.
The external tools are poor too, the knife is OK, but the cross-head driver is 2D and that pry-bar is completely useless as far as I can tell.
I was considering getting a Grappler to add to my collection (I have an Irwin Vicegrip too), but having seen one I am completely cured of my desire to own one!
I'm not a Gerber hater either, I've had several Gerbers and had good success with them.

I'll stick with my modded Crunch - it's the king of the multitool.

I came across a Crunch for sale. I have carried other Leathermans in the past and I wasn't crazy about them. This would be carried as a complement to an SAK. Do all of you guys find this more useful as opposed to a traditional Leatherman?
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

The Crunch doesn't get a lot of chatter but I think most who have one is pretty happy, I know I am.

I'm a huge Crunch fan. I've been carrying and using one for over 4 years now.  It has helped me out on numerous occasions where a regular needle nose Leatherman would have been ineffective.  If I used needle nose pliers on a regular basis I would carry something else. Since I don't the Crunch has worked perfectly for me.  The serrated blade while not very long is beautifully designed and very aggressive. The phillips is nicely formed and has good reach.  The file is decently aggressive. I have really come to appreciate the wire stripper in the handle and I often use the hex bit adapter with the bit extender.  Short of changing a tire on my truck there is very little that can't be accomplished with a Crunch and a SAK :tu:

I love my Crunch. I do not use it much, but love it non the less and the design is awesome. Now if they would just make it in Black Oxide.

I really like my Crunch because of the locking pliers, which can also work as an extra hand in some cirumstances.  They can be used as normal (semi-blunt) pliers, but they are a bit fiddly to deploy. If you have a use for locking pliers but don't need needle nose pliers frequently then they are hard to beat in the MT universe.  If I wanted to use regular pliers often then other MTs may be more suitable.  They are quite compact when folded up, and surprisingly robust for their size.  One useful feature that many overlook is the 1/4 hex bit driver in the handle.

I think they'd go well with a SAK as the SAK could supply the tools a Crunch lacks (PE blade, screwdrivers, opener/s etc)

I really think it's the coolest looking m/t out there!  I'd love to add one to my collection soon, but it's on the holding pattern behind some of my other wants right now.

Yes.  There are tools on one side only and they all lock.

My new (to me) Crunch finally arrived!  Super cool tool.  Smaller than I anticipated but that's not bad in my eyes.  Unfortunately it arrived with a damaged Phillips driver.  I think the seller just forgot to mention it.  They were kind enough to refund me enough to pay for a small flat rate box so it will be going to LM for repair after I play with it for a few days.

If i had to keep just one LM the crunch would be it. I found out how much i would always use my needle nose LM many times  in circumstances where locking pliers were needed. Im noticing im not leaving so many mauled bolt heads in my wake. I didn't know I need the Crunch till i got it!

Yeah the Crunch has the perfect set of tools to cover my MT needs at work.  It's just a little small for that job.  Will have to stick to my ST300 for that role until they make a SuperCrunch.  But I can see the current Crunch as a great glove box or garage tool.

I have had needlenose plier based Leathermans in the past and didn't get along with them. Does anyone think a Crunch might serve my purposes better?

Have you put it to the test or just assuming that its too small, because i felt the same way at first. But it's become an essential tool daily. Give it a fair shot bro, you wont regret it
