I'm talking old-school Weiss/Hickman/Salvatore readers and endless nights of 1st-2nd Ed. pen-and-paper RPGing.

Salvatore and his Dark Elf stories are wonderful.  I also liked his Cleric Quintet but no where near as much as The Menzoberanzen series.

Not these days, but I recall the times.

Ahh, When Cheetos were a staple food and the benefits of Dwarfs over Elfs (and their appropriate spelling!) was a topic for heated discussion.

1st, 2nd, 3rd, and now 4th Edition RPG'r here... as well as about 30 other games :D

And for the record... I friggin hate elves.
