I bought a Chinese multitool...

I can't believe I'm saying this but yes I actually bought a Chinese multitool(Great Neck NO. 12000). I found it new in box at a community yard sale and it was a quarter so I thought why not. Its a PST type mutitool with non locking tools and is of poor quality.

There's a difference between buying a reputable brand name product made in China and a generic, poorly made in China, dollar-store item. Sounds like you just bought the latter. Congrats, now you've crossed over to the dark side.

There is no coming back from that either. They do make nice shelf occupiers though for a burgeoning collection.

The one I got was either previously purchased or stolen so I figured it wouldn't do any harm.

The Benchmade 'Vex' is a great Chinese knife and some of the torches coming from China are very good.
Don't think I've seen Chinese Multi's yet, but all countries make cheap crap I imagine.

The Spyderco Tenacious is also an excellent Chinese-made knife.
