PST dated 0895 with brown sheath worth?
« on: August 12, 2010, 12:27:19 am »
I was looking through some of my old things and found an old PST with no rust and with the original sheath. Is this worth any money? Or should I just keep it for my collection?

Hi there  :salute:

It's not hugely valuable, but if it's in good condition, then there would be some interest in it I think UAinfidel.

A quick browse through the trade forums here will show you what they can fetch, but there's no real "price list".

My advice would be to hold onto it if you like the idea of collecting, or maybe try to trade it for another tool or Swiss Army Knife if you fancy a change!

I do plan on starting a collection so I guess I'll hold on to it.

It's actually in amazing condition. No rust or signs of wear at all. Even the snaps on the sheath are still shiny. Since it's not available to purchase anymore I think I'll hold on to it. Thanks for the info!

My pleasure.

If you are thinking of starting a collection of multitools, then I would say the PST is a must, as the "father" of all the modern multitools that followed it.

I have lots of them myself.
