Hardware store finds
on: November 22, 2011, 03:21:18 AM
So the other day I was in Ace Hardware picking up a few things, and I wandered over to the clearance bin, and I just had to buy these:

Strange how things like this could be considered part of Ace's "premium" line of tools...

I've found those hammer tools are quite handy.  How many of us have used a MT as a hammer incorrectly...

Yea, I got one of those a while ago, with the wood inlaid handle. Never used it, just bought it as a conversation piece.

I'll open these soon and take some more pictures.

Kinda like the middle one, always liked the Wenger fold out pliers like on some of the Ranger models, that's what this reminds me of, would like to see those pics :tu:

Finally took some pictures:

The hammer and wrench are top notch, and the inside tools are cheap but usable, except for the Phillips driver. I wouldn't doubt that when the new dictionaries come out, that there will be a photo of it under "useless":

No problem. Two of them were $7.00 each, and I believe (if I'm remembering correctly) the pliers only one was was $5.00
