INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY PLEASE READ PART I:: Folks…Some of you outside the United States are having trouble with Leatherman warranty. DO NOT SEND or bring your tool to the place you bought it. ONLY SEND it to the authorized Leatherman distributor in your country. They will send you a new tool. If you ever have ANY QUESTIONS, please email them to facebook {at} leatherman.com

INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY PLEASE READ PART II :: Leatherman distributors do not have REPAIR centers anymore. They only send out new warranty replacement. If you have a sentimental tool you only want repaired and NOT REPLACED, please tell them and ask them to send it to the United States for repair only. It will take longer, but it will be done. If we can fix it we will, otherwise we will not replace it we will send it back to you as you wish. If you ever have ANY QUESTIONS, please email them to facebook {at} leatherman.com.

Now, if they would only promise their dealers that they will cover ALL their expenses incurred from posting the tools to the US and back things will be even better.

In this day and age, a warranty like this is to be treasured.  Leatherman, kudos to you.

Although I have never had a problem with their warranty in Israel, my hat goes off for them trying to make everything as good as they can for the customers.

Don't worry, I tested DreamPoint (our local LM dealer) for you. :D My last warranty return took 3 days, no questions asked. Might me a bit longer for you though.

Wonder if they are doing something about the local distributors who refuse warranty on tools not bought from them? I gave a buddy a skeletool before he left to New Zealand, he busted the plier head and the local distributor told him no receipt no fix, he had to send it back to Canada (repaired without any fuss).
