My new toy came in, a lamp with a mag built in, needless to say it was broke.. Worst part is the guy expects you to pay for the shipping back in order to replace it, sooo, nothing a sak and a little glue can't fix! Then after that I find out the thing won't except the bulbs we use sooo, I had to use the sak to take it apart and to trim the bulb screw in thingy(socket  ?) hey it works now! JR

As I sit on my Crapper Throne in the Reading Room and explode on the Commode, thinking, how my flush beat John’s and Jerry’s pair? Jack’s had to run for the Water Closet yet ended up tripping on a Can bowing and hitting his Head on the Porcelain God! 🚽

Picked up a new corncob pipe for when I go fishing so I don't risk one of my briars.  I used the awl on my black Pioneer to clean up the inside of it a bit before my Kershaw pipe knife took over this afternoon.  University Flake, gotta love pressed VA and burley!

Love the old Huntsman Nate.  :tu:  Love the HH Vintage Syrian as well.  I actually went to the smoke shop to pick up a tin of MacBaren's Navy Flake, which is my personal favorite, but they were out.  >:(  Almost grabbed some Syrian, but I was in a pressed tobacco mood, hence the University.

Thanks Tom!
I like MacBarons Navy Flake. I think Petersons University Flake is a little better. Not as much topping on it.

I just used the HOOK of a Vic Climber to pull several elastic loops through holes to put a cover back on a child car seat (a must have GrandPa EDC item).

That darn hook just will not die!

There's a reason Vic still adds it to their SAKs. :salute:

My wife used the scissors on the Explorer to remove some tags from new clothes, and I used the bottle opener to open up an Angry Orchard hard cider.

I cut this with my Swisschamp (new file) after my Charge and Spirit started eating the metal. It was hard but I did it with just these three tools.

Yes.

You shortened it to accommodate an EDC need or did you do it just to see if you could do it?

I used my Trekker's saw on Sunday. We were in a park with friends, making a camp fire.

I have to say, the saw cuts like a beast. Until then I only cut branches up to ~5cm thick. On this day, the biggest was a maybe 25cm log I notched from all sides an then kicked off the pieces. Worked better than the axe a friend brought!
I had a Fiskars collapsible saw with me. It had longer reach, but I found working with the SAK's saw more ergonomic and it made up for the shorter reach with sharper teeth.
 :sak:

I also got to use the Trekker's blade to cut some chicken breast and sausages for the BBQ and later carve a stick for my fire fork.

That was lots of fun :D
