The last couple of days I fixed the building's auto closing door, cleaned the water hose in my office's bathroom from a lot of salt (CaCO3, very hard), changed batteries on my Canon 18x50 IS, opened a letter, filed a bad nail, all with the SAKenstein, Spirit.

Scissors: Cutting landscaping fabric for the tops of tree planters before topping off with pebbles, deadheading fuchsia, osteospermum, and petunias, cutting twine for tying back skyscraper lillies.

Knife: opening bags of bark chippings, builders sand, and decorative pebbles

Awl: creating drainage holes in pots, perforating the landscaping fabric for easier watering

Saw: shortening a cane supporting a Trifoliate Orange

Can Opener: used as Phillips to tighten a screw on the gate latch.

We went to shoot some pool, and on the way home we stopped at DQ for a little something, well the lady hands me my blizzard with the spoon in it and I asked for a lid, so she tries to put it on and well, it don't fit, the spoon was to long.. So I took the farmer out and cut a little hole in the lid so the spoon would fit through the lid! Piece of cake, needless to say I heard all of the giggling when I walked away like I was nuts, lol.. But hey, it worked!

Last night at church the 3 and 4 year olds were playing on the playground and congregated around a slide looking at a "spider".  Hmmm, better investigate this.  Well it was an arachnid, just not a spider.  Out comes my Pioneer to vanquish this enemy.  One less tick in the world.

Then later in the evening, still at church, a plastic rocking horse has somehow managed to get water trapped inside it.  Hmmm, Pioneer awl neatly drills hole in the plastic and water drains.

Pioneer got a workout for the evening.
