Yadda's Challenge Coin
on: March 24, 2014, 06:16:03 PM
I haven't had time to get the mock-up  drawn, but being a traditionalist, I am going with just a regular challenge coin with no multi-functionality.

I haven't fully decided upon images, but I do have a latin phrase to put on it.

"Unum instrumentum  multis utitur"  - Roughly translated - "One tool many uses"

Suggestions welcome while you wait on my rudimentary drawings.

To add an element of whimsy we could use this on one side.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with, whether lobster based or otherwise.
Pictures of most of my work can be found on my Facebook Page.
Also have a look at my Shapeways Shop and SW Torch Shop for 3D printed items.

You aren't just using a lobster motif to suck up to the Head Turd Polisher because he lives in the lobster capitol of the world, are you?  :P

On the front an impression of the pliery multitool.  7 stars as a subtitle nod to the anniversary and the year.

On the back a knife blade impression as a nod to our SAK brothers, my Latin phrase and a poorly drawn maple leaf as a subtitle suck up for Greg's vote as the founder....

My project at work ran oversold no real time to draw or seek more opinion.

Sorry about not including the lobster, but I do like gulf oysters better.
