Ok, IDK how you planned on doing this, but here is what I suggest.

Take the name list and randomize it (https://www.random.org/lists/, one name per line).
Everybody in the list sends his present to the next person on the list (last one, sends it to the first one). That way even or odd does not matter.

e.g.:
Original List:
Ashley
lowtech
Etherealicer

Randomized List:
lowtech
Etherealicer
Ashley

Lowtech sends Etherealicer, Etherealicer sends Ashley, Ashley sends to lowtech... done.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

I have no problem with waiting until christmas while others feel it is a kind of torture having a package full of goodness and not being allowed to open it. shall we decide about it or shall each recipient decide for his own package?

I would only let other people decide with what knife/SAK/MT I would open my package and not when. I might open it in the hands of the postman if he wouldn't be terrified in appereance of my Endura.

Hm, winter swimmers? It is very usual in my country, although we usually do it in the mellow waters of the Aegean. But you can use a heated pool.

They live longer. Winter swimming is feasible when people have a larger BMI, like polar bears and sea mammals with blubber have. Skinny people should avoid it.

As some of you may know I am in the U.S. Army. Part of being a Soldier is being a team player. Well that being said and in the spirit of team play I offer this.
