Should I see a pyschiatrist?

Whenever I come up with a multitool solution, the theme to MacGyver starts playing in my head.

It is perfectly normal, that's the way our brain works with associations. The persistence of the theme is a bit obsessive but not in a clinical sense if it doesn't induce anxiety and a compulsive repetitive reaction struggling to fight the original thought or mental image.
I don't remember the tune by the way.

There is also a cartoon my son watches called "Peg + Cat" where whenever the heroin fixes something she starts singing "We solved a problem, problem solved". So I get that sometimes too.

I sometimes get 'the Inspector Gadget' theme pop into my head in these instances,

Sometimes the A-Team build-montage music.

Mostly, though... nothing.

 I can't stop on this one...

This week a coworker came to the room I sat in and talked to another coworker. I was listening with half an ear. It was about the first one couldn't scan a big plan, because the machine was doing smurf. Than the other one said to ask me about this (I know how to use the big plotter/scan thing).
I turned in my chair while I started to "sing" the A-Team theme.... First that looked at me, like I had grown a second head, but then they started laughing.

And MacGyver starts regularly in my head. Or when I'm running through the company I sometimes start humming Indiana Jones theme....

Is this akin to humming the smurfing Hamster song for a full week straight at work? If it is, I want no part of it!

I would be strongly tempted to bolt if I had to watch old episodes myself. They were great in the 80's but look very dated these days.
