For me:

Best OHO Blade: Vic Soldier. I prefer that one due to the better grip (thumb or pointer on back of the blade) and handle ergonomics when deployed.
Best Bottle Opener: Alox classic, because they didn't put one in and there are still at least 4 ways to open your brew...
Best at kicking out of its league: 58mm blade. Seriously, that tiny, single edged toothpick rocks
Prettiest of Leatherman: Charge TTi
Prettiest of Victiorinox: Spirit RT
Prettiest of Gerber: Seriously, have you looked at those >:D

I don't have SOG Switchpliers, but Gerber MP-600 deploys pretty fast too.
Fastest Pliers stashing: MP-600 family (not that I would know about the other Gerbers)
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Best OHO blade: Vic Trekker. This might be the perfect lefty OHO.
Best Cutter of tough wire AND for repetitive cutting: SOG compound leverage.
Best Awl: Tied between Vic Farmer In-line, and the 91mm Vics, for different reasons.
Best Scissors: Leatherman Micra, near runner up SOG Crosscut (if you're on a budget)
Best small scissors: Tied between Vic 58mm and Leatherman Keychain size tools
Best Ergonomics in Knife Mode: Vic 111mm
Best Ergonomics in Plier Mode: Les Stroud Fat-A$$ handled multitool (Yeah, I said it!)
Best Ergonomics in Plier Mode on a REAL MT: Vic Spirit. Mmmm... comfy...
Fastest Plier Deployment: Gerber Recoil. Dangerous. Not for the faint of heart.
Fastest Plier Deployment/Stashing: Well broken-in Leatherman PST, flicked butterfly knife style. Runner-up SOGs.
Best Saw: Vic 111mm
Best Can Opener: (Yeah, I'm going there) Cheap Sheffield PST clone. Strangely enough.
Best Fish Scaler: None
Best small philips: Vic Rambler (or other 58mm with combo tool)
Best full size Philips: Leatherman (Blast/Rebar, etc)
Best gun sight adjustment flathead Driver: Leatherman Juice or PST (smallest flathead)
Best eye-glass scale flathead: Vic corkscrew insert flathead.
Best Small Pliers: IDL T10 (by any name)
Best small scale wirecutters: Leatherman Keychain size plier-based tools (Style PS, Squirt, etc.)
Best computer jumper puller: Vic 91mm pliers
Best value-for-money (new): Leatherman Wingman or Rebar and most any 2-3 layer Vic 91mm
Best value-for-money (used): Whatever deal you can snag on ebay.
Best tool, period: The one you have with you.

I haven't owned every single tool, obviously, so some of these should be taken as "that I've ever had/used". And some of them are, obviously, just for humor.

Best OHO blade: LM K502-- and aside form the other K and H series blades, this isn't even close. Blade quality and ergonomics, nothing compares.
Best scissors-- Style CS
Best Awl-- Farmer etc.
Best pliers-- ST300. Spirit could hang right there if only it had a finer needle nose. ST300 for capability, Spirit a close second for comfort.
Best wirecutters-- ST300
Best Saw-- Wenger 130mm. Runner up-- Surge with Bosch blades.
Best Bit driver-- Kershaw Select Fire.
Best fixed drivers-- ST300 across the board, philips and flat
Best File-- LM Pulse
Best keychain add-on-- Minichamp
Best all-inclusive package-- Charge TTi

Despite me having technical difficulties this end, I had to conjure up a way of posting here (copying and pasting to and from a word document) to voice my opinions on some of your opinions :D

The Best One hand knife of any Multitools is Leatherman Wave/Charge/Surge Wenger Ranger plain edged blade as seen on the Rangergrip 90, or the Buck X-Tract Fin/Essential
The Best Cutter for tough wire of any Multitools is SOG compound leverage Agreed
The Best Awl of any Multitools is Victorinox Alox With the Victorinox Spirit a close second
The Best Bottle opener of any Multitools is Leatherman Skeletool Gerber Octane, Byrd Firedbyrd, or Gerber Dime
The Best Ergonomic in knife mode of any Multitools is Leatherman Skeletool Buck X-Tract
The Best Ergonomic in pliers mode of any Multitools is Victorinox Spirits and Gerber Diesel in 4" and 4.1/2" categories respectively
(see my thread on handle ergonomics for explainations)
The Fastest Pliers deployment of any Multitools is SOG Switchpliers Gerber Recoil, however quickest deployment and stowage combined, has to go to the Gerber Balance
Best scissors = Vic 91's
Best tool for punching above it's weight = Vic Rambler
Best blade/saw/file = Subjective! Depends what you're cutting
Best drivers = Subjective! Depends on the screws.
Best ergonomics in driver mode = SOG Switchplier
Best eyeglasses driver = Wenger PTC small driver

The cantankerous but occasionally useful member, formally known as 50ft-trad

Best pliers at gripping large objects: MP-600 blunt nose
Depending on the size of the object needing gripping here are some alternatives:

Medium Large: Sheffield 12020 (cheap) or Schrade ST5/Craftsman 45471 (robust, not cheap) - all 3 are Slip joint pliers MT

Larger still:  Schrade/ViseGrip 6LC (the one sometimes called the "Leg-Irons" MT because of the way it looks)

Here's an odd one.

Best MT for de-hooking a fish: LM skeletool. They are so thin it's easy to slide in through gill and operculum.

My best MT of the world would be the Swisstool X, of course there are tools that do some things better. But overall it is a winner for me. Good dedicated screwdrivers, just as good as ST 300. Pliers are the strongest on the market and come close to dedicated pliers, ST 300 has thinner pliers and is weak due to the cut out for the replaceble cutters. Cutting part is not best and LM would win here but the the replaceble cutters have an disadvantge as i described. Scissors are excelent, never used the surge but they cant be verry different in quality and use. Knife blade is decent and has a good shape, not sv30 steel but it is resharpened very easily and i prefer that on a working blade because it gets dinged up some times, it is not my kitchen knife.

Every tool is specificly designed for the Swisstool, so you get an extremely well designed package. Overall body dimensions are smaller than the Leatherman wave.
